The Precision Experience

More Than Eye Care

What’s the difference between a good eye exam and a great one? You’ll know it when you see it. Precision Family Eye Care’s trained professional staff takes extra steps to make sure you get the best care. We’re a vision clinic, and we pride ourselves on seeing things that others don’t. More than just getting a new glasses or contact lens prescription our thorough eye exam will check for cataracts, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, and eye issues related to your overall health such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

We Listen To You

We Use Our Ears to Treat Your Eyes

The first step to building a treatment plan is getting to know you and your needs. That’s why we ask a lot of questions about what you do and how you use your eyes every day. It’s how we provide the best care.

Tailored to Your Needs

No One in the World Has Your Eyes

At Precision Family Eye Care, there is no “one size that fits all.” We are interested in treating you and your eyes, which means that we strive to come up with the best plan for your needs. Like your eyes, your care will always be unique.

Kid-Friendly Eye Care

Your child’s vision is important too. Precision Family Eye Care is committed to promoting sound optical health, starting from a young age. That’s why we provide free eye exams for children who are 6 months old to a year and strongly encourage parents or guardians to bring children in for at least one eye exam before they begin grade school. By tailoring our eye exams to young children and being aware of any potential discomfort or anxiety, Precision Family Eye Care can treat your child in an unobtrusive, stress-free way. From the first examination to finding a prescription for their first pair of glasses, Precision can make it painless. Good eye health can make a huge difference in a person’s life and unfortunately, eye problems in children can go unnoticed. Precision Family Eye Care wants to be the optometrists your family trusts, the one that builds a relationship with your child that extends from diapers to diplomas and beyond. Their futures are bright and we want them to see all of it.

What to Expect

Because we want to make sure you get the best possible care, a Precision eye exam lasts somewhere between thirty and sixty minutes. Here’s a partial list of what we’ll check during your comprehensive evaluation of your eye health.

  • Autorefraction (estimate/starting point for any potential prescription)
  • Keratometry (corneal curvature, important for contact lens fitting)
  • Tonometry (eye pressure, we will not be using air puff method)
  • A thorough health/ocular history including questions about occupational- and hobby-related visual needs
  • Dilation for those it's deemed necessary allowing better screening for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic eye problems, retinal tears/holes, etc.

We work with all kinds of insurance companies, including the following:
