Dr. Kim Hodne

Dr. Kim Hodne, OD, was born and raised in Manning, Iowa. Once graduating high school in 2013, she began to pursue her career in Optometry. She received her certified paraoptometric assistant license in 2014 and worked in various eye clinics (including here at Precision Family Eyecare) all throughout her undergraduate career. In 2019, she graduated from Iowa State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. In 2023, she received her Doctorate of Optometry with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Hodne has interest in primary eye care in all ages, from infants to geriatrics. Being a life-long contact lens wearer herself, she loves to provide patients with options and finding the best fit for them. Exploring the optical and fashion side of frame and lens selections has also been a passion of hers.

In her free time, Dr. Hodne is a big foodie and loves spending time outdoors with her family and two big dogs. She also is a big sports fan and can be found cheering on her team while shooting a round of darts.
